P0730 OBDII

Incorrect Gear Ratio

Symptoms:

1. "whining" sound whenever vehicle is turned on , and while accelerating. The noise goes away after driving a while.

2. Car will act as if its in neutral and wont shift properly


You should first try to look if the solenoids are working properly...
Check the transmission solenoid's wires and harness.. Check the entire harness.. Maybe you will have to remove the Trans oil pan to see the solenoids.. Then check if there is no broken or dammaged wire..
If the wires look OK.. Then maybe could be only a failure in one of the solenoids..

Most of the time the problem is the clutch plates arent lining up properly or slipping, and your transmission will need replaced
